Katelios is a small traditional village in the southeast part of Kefalonia island and belongs to the geographical compartment of Elios Pronni. Only a few locals are staying all year round in the area and it is mostly visited during summertime.
Katelios can be described as a meeting point for a company of friends from all around the world who visit us back each summer.
People are open & friendly and you will meet volunteers for the protection of sea turtle caretta-caretta among tourists and locals who join together and create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
You could stay in Katelios and explore the surrounding area by foot or could rent a car to explore the island having katelios as your holiday base.
Traditionally being a village of fishermen and sailors, it is propably the top reccommendation for those that want to enjoy the best fresh fish & lobster.
